
If you’re looking for something start your day with during Veganuary, look no further! This Pecan Mocha Dirty Chai is just the thing and is perfect for the colder winter months (even if you still want to enjoy it iced instead of hot!).

I’m happy to be collaborating with PKN for this delicious recipe! Have you ever had pecan milk?! PKN’s pecan milk is truly *chef’s kiss*, both the original & chocolate flavors! For this recipe, I used the chocolate flavor to create the “mocha” part of the drink, and it adds a beautiful pecan flavor to the dish & makes it insanely creamy!
Did you know the pecan is the only native nut to the US? I honestly had no clue until I came across PKN! It’s pretty crazy that out of all the nut milks in existence, pecan milk is truly the only native/most eco-friendly one of them all! What does all this mean exactly? That they use minimal water and resources to grow, are drought resistant & climate resilient, and can be sourced from regenerative farmers! Not to mention the crazy health benefits pecans provide. All around, pecan milk gets a big stamp of approval from me!

Pecan Mocha Dirty Chai
This DAIRY-FREE Pecan Mocha Dirty Chai is the perfect way to start your days during veganuary!
Ingredients
- 2 chai tea bags
- Brewed coffee or espresso can be hot or cold
- ¼ cup PKN Chocolate Pecan Milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract *optional
- Maple syrup to taste
Instructions

Place your two chai tea bags in a mug & fill up with hot water 1/3 of the way up the mug.

Brew your favorite coffee or espresso as you usually would, remove the tea bags from your mug & add your coffee/espresso another 1/3 of the way up the mug.

Froth your PKN Chocolate Pecan Milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to taste & pour that to fill the remaining 1/3 of your mug & enjoy!
Recipe Notes
- You can make this caffeine free by using caffeine free rooibos chai tea, and either decaf coffee or a coffee alternative!
- You can make this iced by letting your coffee or espresso cool before adding, cold frothing your pecan milk, and adding ice!
