You really only need 5 ingredients besides the crab cakes to accomplish this Benedict, and everything comes together in the time it takes to cook the crab cakes! You need mini ciabatta/bun of choice, greens, tomato, your Good Catch Foods Plant-Based Crab Cake, vegan hollandaise, and some fresh chives! It’s so simple & you’ll fall in love so fast! This will be a staple in your recipe arsenal no doubt!

Crab Cake Benedict

15 minute Plant-Based Crab Cake Benedict using Good Catch Foods!

Ingredients

  • 1 box Good Catch Foods Plant-Based Crab Cakes
  • mini ciabatta or bread of choice
  • vegan hollandaise *recipe below
  • tomato
  • fresh chives & smoked paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook your Crab Cakes according to package instructions.

  2. Toast up your ciabatta, add your greens, tomato, a crab cake, your vegan hollandaise, and fresh chives/smoked paprika as a garnish!

Recipe Notes

For the vegan hollandaise, blend together these ingredients- 

  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 3/4 tsp kala namak 
  • cayenne pepper & salt to taste 

Once everything is blended, place in a bowl and microwave for 30-40 seconds until warm! Stir well and you’re ready to go! This keeps in the fridge for 2 weeks so you can continue to reuse easily!
