Alright, y’all have been asking for a SUPER easy & delicious garlic bread that can be prepped and baked all under 15 minutes. You best bet I didn’t disappoint! I know everyone typically hasslebacks potatoes, but I was thinking… why not with garlic bread?! In my opinion this truly makes the *perfect* loaf. Its crunchy on the top layer, but still so soft and fluffy in the middle, and the way of cutting the bread really holds every ounce of buttery, garlicky, cheesy goodness inside.

When you hassleback things, you really are just cutting slices into it without cutting all the way through. Doing this with your bread loaf will make it look like an accordion almost, haha, but it really creates the PERFECT loaf of garlic bread! Trust me, everyone that’s tried this so far has been in love and I know it will become a staple in your kitchen as soon as you take your first bite.

This is great for parties, dinner for one (aka what I do with it), or as a side for pasta nights. It’s so fun, easy to make, and SAVE THAT LEFTOVER GARLIC BUTTER SPREAD OKAY!!!! You can use it for so many other things! I really hope y’all love this recipe as much as I do, and if you want a more in depth how-to, check my Instagram reels (@plvntfood) for the video!

  • 2 cups vegan butter softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup minced garlic
  • 4 heads roasted garlic mashed into a paste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp each ground mustard & garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives
  • 1/8 cup + 2 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 1/8 cup vegan parmesan
  • 1/4 cup vegan mozzarella shreds plus more for topping

Garlic Butter to Brush on Top

  • 1/4 cup vegan butter melted

  4. Take your softened butter mixture and generously spread between each slice.

  5. Take your melted garlic butter and brush overtop the whole loaf generously on a baking tray. Top with more mozzarella shreds if desired

  6. Bake at 425F for 10 minutes. Then dig in and enjoy!
