I know breakfasts are sometimes not the easiest, sometimes you don’t have time, sometimes you are too tired, sometimes you just don’t want to make a huge mess with a million dishes… but these. These little bundles of joy will make your mornings SO much better & they require just one pan (that you probably won’t even need to clean thanks to parchment paper), and about 5 minutes of prep. Then you just let them do their thing in the oven while you get ready! Let me show you how to make them, trust me you’ll be obsessed.
I’m really excited to announce that this recipe is in collaboration with Follow Your Heart! They’re one of my favorite brands, and I’ve gotten so many requests to make more recipes using their products from y’all, since they’re so accessible across the US. The products I used in this recipe are their American slices & sriracha vegenaise! They’re so dang good and really send this recipe over the top!
First you’ll need to get your crescent dough ready, then take a piece of American cheese sliced in half diagonally on the larger end, as well as a vegan breakfast sausage link. I used the Field Roast breakfast sausage links, but didn’t cook them prior! No need to with this brand since they will cook in the oven. But if you use a brand like beyond meat, lightlife, etc. that have that “casing” on them, make sure you cook them according to package instructions prior!
Roll them up & place onto a parchment lined baking tray. Melt some vegan butter down and mix with garlic powder and salt, then brush over top each roll. Top with everything bagel seasoning and bake according to your crescent rolls package instructions. I like to bake them an extra 5-10 minutes then what the package recommends since the fillings affect the cooking time and this makes them perfectly fluffy and golden brown.
See I told you, I promise it’s sooooo easy to make & that you’ll fall in love instantly. Like. Super fucking instantly.

Sausage & Cheese Breakfast Rolls
This 15 minute breakfast is truly the PERFECT quick one that will please anyone you give them to!
- 1 package vegan crescent rolls (I used the pillsbury original)
- 1 package Follow Your Heart American slices cut in half diagonally
- 1 package Field Roast breakfast sausage links uncooked
- 4 tbsp vegan butter melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- salt to taste
- everything bagel seasoning
Lay out your crescent rolls and place one cheese triangle and one sausage link on each roll. Roll them up and place on a parchment paper lined baking tray.
Melt your vegan butter and mix with garlic powder and salt to taste. Brush over the top of each roll then sprinkle with as much everything bagel seasoning as you wish!
Cook them according to your crescent rolls package instructions, but bake an extra 5-10 minutes longer than suggested to make sure they get nice and golden and fluffy, since the fillings do affect the cooking time!
These are best served warm with Follow Your Heart Sriracha Vegenaise for dipping!
