
Happy National Sandwich Day y’all! Today I wanted to bring something a bit more unique your way, combining one of my favorite takeout items and one of my favorite breads / sandwich vessels. A crab rangoon & everything bagel. I know the combination might sound weird, but trust me… you’ll fall in love SO fast with this amazingly delicious and easy recipe!

I’m really excited to announce that this recipe is in collaboration with Follow Your Heart! They’re one of my favorite brands, and I’ve gotten so many requests to make more recipes using their products from y’all, since they’re so accessible across the US. The product I used in this recipe is their Cream Cheese! It’s so dang good and really sends this recipe over the top!

Here’s what you’ll need to make these delicious sandos-
- 1 package Follow Your Heart Cream Cheese, room temperature
- 1 can brined jackfruit, drained & rinsed
- 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/3 cup chopped scallions
- Everything bagels
- Thinly sliced red onion, chopped scallions, sliced jalapeno, arugula *for topping
You can also use any toppings you’d like! Pickled carrots, cilantro, pickled red onion, cucumber, sweet chili sauce, spinach, green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, etc. Really anything is delicious here!
Also if you need this to be gluten free, use a gluten free bagel!
And here’s how you make it! Trust me, you’ll want to double the batch of crab rangoon filling (which you can also just add right into wonton wrappers and fry for actual Crab Rangoons), so that you can munch on these babies all week!
- Pulse your jackfruit in a food processor until it resembles crab meat.
- In a bowl add your jackfruit, room temp. cream cheese, toasted sesame oil, salt, sugar, and scallions. Mix well until combined.
- Toast your everything bagel and add arugula on the bottom, then some of your crab Rangoon mix, and top with red onion, jalapenos, and more scallions.

See I told you, I promise it’s sooooo easy to make & that you’ll fall in love instantly. Like. Super fucking instantly.

Crab Rangoon Bagel Sandwich
This Crab Rangoon Bagel Sandwich is the perfect marriage of comfort food take out & fluffy breakfast bagels. You'll fall in love after one bite, trust me!
Ingredients
