Sometimes you just want an easy breakfast that can sit in the fridge all week for you to grab and go. I see people making overnight oats all the time where they add so many different fresh fruits and such which get kinda soggy throughout the week. So I decided to make some that only have one fresh fruit that holds up throughout the week, and gives you that nostalgic flavor combo! PB&J! Who wouldn’t want that?! And of course, if you have a peanut allergy you can use any other kind of nut butter, or if you’re allergic to nuts in general, use sunflower seed butter!

I’m really excited to announce that this recipe is in collaboration with Follow Your Heart! They’re one of my favorite brands, and I’ve gotten so many requests to make more recipes using their products from y’all, since they’re so accessible across the US. The product I used in this recipe is their Blueberry Yogurt! It’s so dang good and really send this recipe over the top!

So here’s what you’ll need to make these, and how to do it! You can of course customize the flavor as well and use strawberry yogurt / fresh strawberries / strawberry jam instead of blueberry- or really whatever you want! It’s super easy to customize to your liking!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 ½ tsp ground flax seeds (or chia seeds)
  • 1 ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp creamy salted peanut butter
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • Follow Your Heart blueberry yogurt
  • Blueberry jam
  • Extra creamy salted peanut butter
  • Roasted peanuts
  • Fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Combine your oats, flax, cinnamon, 4 tbsp peanut butter, almond milk, vanilla, and maple syrup in a mason jar.  Shake very well to combine then place in the fridge overnight.
  2. The next day, layer up in another jar or bowl- your overnight oats, blueberry yogurt, blueberry jam, fresh blueberries, peanut butter, and roasted peanuts.

See I told you, I promise it’s sooooo easy to make & that you’ll fall in love instantly.  Like. Super fucking instantly.

But that’s it! Super easy, super delicious, and definitely something amazing to make when you are craving that nostalgic PB&J, or really any time, let’s be honest. Once again, I just want to give a big thanks to Follow Your Heart for sponsoring this recipe and allowing me to share it with y’all! It’s truly delicious.
