Loaded Reuben Fries

Happy National Fry Day! To celebrate, I’ve created these DELICIOUS Loaded Reuben Fries. Everything that a Reuben sandwich has- these are smothered in & trust me you’ll have a hard time not eating the entire tray by yourself.

I’m really excited to announce that this recipe is in collaboration with Follow Your Heart! They’re one of my favorite brands, and I’ve gotten so many requests to make more recipes using their products from y’all, since they’re so accessible across the US. The products I used in this recipe are their Provolone Style Slices & Thousand Island Dressing! They’re so dang good and really send this recipe over the top!

Here’s what you’ll need to make them-

  • 1 bag frozen waffle fries 
  • 1 pack vegan deli style ham slices, chopped 
  • 1/2-1 cup regular unsweetened soy milk 
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 pack Follow Your Heart Provolone Slices 
  • 1/3 cup Follow Your Heart Thousand Island Dressing 
  • 1/4-1/3 cup sauerkraut 
  • 2 tsp caraway seeds 
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds 

And here’s how to make them! Trust me it’s literally the easiest thing.

  1. Cook your fries according to package instructions
  2. In a small pot, add your provolone slices (cubed), soy milk, and salt.  Start with less soy milk, and add more as the cheese melts over low heat.  Make it as thick or thin as you want. 
  3. Slice your ham into strips and heat until just warmed in a skillet.  Add oil if needed. 
  4. Once your fries are ready, pour over your cheese sauce, then add your ham, sauerkraut, thousand island dressing, caraway seeds, and sesame seeds. 
  5. Serve Immediately.
