Now that it’s grilling season, what better way to kick it off than with a Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Burger?! It’s spicy, creamy, and so dang delicious- even your non vegan friends will be in love. They’re also incredibly easy to make so let’s get into it!

This post is brought to you in collaboration with the ever amazing Tofurky! And y’all… I can’t even tell you my excitement about this collaboration. Tofurky was the first vegan meat substitute I ever tried years and years ago when I first went vegetarian (before becoming vegan). Their vegan turkeys were what I looked forward to most about Thanksgiving. They really have changed the vegan meat industry for the better & I’m so honored to be working with them. And if you for some reason haven’t heard of them (if you live in the states)… well I’m happy to introduce you to them! Their new Plant Based Burgers are so hearty, juicy, and absolutely delicious. And since they act like real ground beef, they make making these burgers so easy.

Here’s what you need to make the burgers-
- 2 Packs Tofurky Plant Based Burgers
- ½ cup softened vegan cream cheese
- ¼ cup fire roasted jalapenos
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to your liking)
- Salt to taste
- 2 hamburger Buns
- 4 slices vegan American cheese
- Butter Lettuce
- Tomato
- Any additional burger toppings you’d like
- 2 tbsp grapeseed oil

And here’s how to make them-
- In a small bowl, mix your softened cream cheese, fire roasted jalapenos, cayenne pepper, and salt to taste until well combined.
- Take one burger patty, spoon a generous amount of the cream cheese into the center of the patty, and place your second patty on top. Squeeze and crimp the edges together to seal it so the cream cheese mixture doesn’t fall out while cooking. Repeat with your other patties.
- Cook your patties according to package instructions either on the grill or in a skillet. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add 2 slices of cheese to each burger to melt.
- Toast your buns and add some of your extra cream cheese & jalapeno mixture to each bun. Then add your lettuce, tomato, etc. & your burger with melted cheese.
- Close up the burger, add a sandwich pick (to hold together while eating) & serve with fries or chips!

And that’s it! Super easy, super delicious, and the perfect way to use their plant based burgers.
Once again I want to give a big thank you to Tofurky for sponsoring this post and allowing me to create a really amazing recipe for you guys. You know I’m all about easy, accessible meals, and showing y’all how to dress up an inexpensive and easy foods so exciting! If you make this, make sure to tag us both on social media so we can see it! Love y’all with my cold little heart.
