Sweet & Spicy Pineapple Burgers

Now that it’s grilling season, it’s the PERFECT time to whip out this delicious af recipe. Grilled Pineapple, Juicy Burgers, Hot Pickled Peppers, & a Sweet and Spicy Pineapple Sriracha Scallion Aioli? 10/10 I PROMISE YOU it’s one of the best burgers you’ll have in quite a while.

This post is sponsored by Alpha Foods! If you haven’t heard of them, now you have! They make some of the MOST AMAZING frozen vegan products on the market, ranging from frozen burritos, tamales, pot pies, etc.- to chicken nuggets, and other vegan meats. And the quality is top notch. Even their frozen burritos when microwaved hold together, don’e explode, and the tortilla never gets that weird rubbery texture- plus they’re actually LOADED with filling.

You can find their products here https://alphaplantbased.com/, and I just want to give a huge thanks to Alpha for collaborating with me on this post and many more to come! I’m so excited to show y’all how easy it is to upgrade these frozen items into full blown meals.

These burgers are SO easy to make, so let’s get into it! Here’s what you’ll need-

  • 1 pack Alpha Foods Burgers (2 patties)
  • 2 thick slices of pineapple, cored (the full ring)
  • ½ cup vegan mayo
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 tsp pineapple juice
  • 1 tsp chopped scallions
  • 1 tsp chopped cilantro
  • Salt to taste
  • Red butter lettuce
  • Pickled hot cherry peppers
  • Toasted pretzel buns (2)

And here’s how to make them!

  1. In a greased grill pan, add your beef burgers and pineapple rings.  Cook for about 10 minutes total over medium heat until you get nice grill marks.
  2. In a bowl, mix together your mayo, sriracha (to taste), pineapple juice, scallions, cilantro, and salt to taste.  Mix well.
  3. Toast your buns, then add some of the spread on the bottom, then lettuce, a burger patty, a grilled pineapple ring, some pickled hot cherry peppers, more spread, then your top bun.  Secure with a sandwich pick & dig in!

You can also 100% grill the pineapple and burgers on an actual grill! Just make sure it’s greased first so they don’t stick.

Super easy, super delicious, and the perfect way to dress up some pineapple rings!
