
It’s no secret I love Jalapeno Poppers, I have several recipes on here that have to do with them. But this one… THIS ONE… really takes the cake. Jalapeno Poppers in DIP FORM?! AND IT’S CBD INFUSED?! Oh hell yeah. This is so easy to whip up, so damn delicious, and trust me, you’ll be eating the whole tray in no time!

This recipe is brought to you by Alpen Organics! They’re one of my favorite brands of CBD, and they’re a completely vegan brand! They have a variety of products from tinctures, to topicals, to gummies- and even CBD for your fur babies! Their product is super clean, tastes great & very mild, and is so easy to infuse any recipe you’d like! For this recipe I used the Double Max Strength (2,000mg) Tincture, but you can use any amount of CBD or any strength tincture of theirs that you’d like!
*as always any of my CBD infused recipes can easily be made non-infused by omitting the CBD oil.

Let’s talk about what the heck CBD even is, shall we?
It’s not a stretch to say that CBD (cannabidiol) is one of the most exciting and promising compounds currently undergoing rigorous medical and scientific research. CBD has made headlines in recent years for some pretty stunning results. Still, misinformation and confusion about CBD abounds due to the relatively recent emergence and widespread awareness of this incredible compound. Let’s take a deep dive into what cannabidiol (CBD) is, and exactly what it does — and doesn’t — do.
CBD is simply short for “cannabidiol”, the second-most abundant cannabinoid molecule produced by the cannabis or hemp plant. The most abundant molecule, of course, being THC: the psychoactive chemical famous for making users feel “high” (CBD does not have this effect). Keep in mind that your body already has an endocannabinoid system, an extremely important molecular system that your body uses to regulate and perform various critical functions. CBD binds to receptors in this system; our bodies were designed to interface with cannabinoids from the very beginning — we even naturally produce them!
But how does CBD work exactly? As we stated earlier, your body already has a wildly complex endocannabinoid system that affects several different areas and functions. That system is rife with “receptors,” sites that await cannabinoid molecules presence. When the cannabinoid nears, the receptor will bind it to itself, creating a sophisticated chemical interaction that modern science is only just beginning to scratch the surface of understanding.
Unlike its sister molecule THC, CBD does not make you feel high — but don’t think that a lack of psychoactive or intoxicating effect means that nothing is occurring. On the contrary, it’s very clear that there are many chemical responses that occur when CBD binds to those cannabinoid receptors. That being said, the endocannabinoid system is ubiquitous in the human body, affecting nearly all major functions in some way (especially homeostatic regulation). Because of this, it’s quite a task to discern everything that CBD does, exactly, when the binding occurs. That’s where the research is at right now: trying to solve that very mystery. Let’s get on with the recipe though shall we! It’s super easy, basically you just gotta make a giant bowl of jalapeno popper filling, mix in some actual jalapenos since we won’t be stuffing them, top them with a yummy breadcrumb topping and bake! Here is what you’ll need to make this insanely delicious dip-
Dip
- 4 ounce can of diced (pickled) jalapenos, drained
- 1-2 fresh jalapenos deseeded and finely diced
- 8 ounces vegan cream cheese
- 1 cup vegan sour cream
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- Salt / Black Pepper to taste
- 2 cups vegan shredded cheddar cheese
- ¾ cups vegan parmesan cheese
- 1-2 droppers full (or as much of you’d like) of Alpen Organics CBD
Topping
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 4 tbsp vegan butter
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- ¼ cup vegan parmesan cheese
- 1 ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
Misc
- Chips / Veggies / Baguette Slices for Dipping
- Pickled Jalapenos for Garnish


This dip is really awesome because it’s such a “fun” way of getting in your CBD if you take it daily! I know some people aren’t a fan of just putting a dropper full under their tongue, but you can very easily incorporate it into almost any recipe, put it in your morning tea / coffee, put it in smoothies, etc. I have several CBD infused recipes on my site and any recipe thats not infused can easily be made with CBD no problem!

Making this dip really couldn’t be easier, You just need one bowl to make the filling & then the rest is easy as… dip? No? Okay. Here’s how to do it!
- Preheat oven to 375F degrees.
- In a mixing bowl cream together the cream cheese, garlic powder and sour cream until fluffy. Add cheddar cheese, CBD oil, ¾ c. Parmesan cheese and jalapenos, mix until combined.
- Spread into an 8×8 inch greased baking dish.
- In a small mixing bowl combine the topping ingredients. Sprinkle over the top of the dip mixture in baking dish.
- Bake 20-30 minutes or until bubbly, and then broil for about a minute or so until the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
- Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, veggies or baguette slices

*You can also adjust the amount of CBD to your liking, making it less strong, or even stronger if you prefer… or even leaving it out all together. All of my CBD infused recipes can easily be made without CBD. The back of the package has all dosage instructions so follow those accordingly.

This CBD Infused Jalapeno Popper Dip is the perfect party snack to chill you and your friends out!
Ingredients
Dip
- 4 ounce can of diced pickled jalapenos, drained
- 1-2 fresh jalapenos deseeded and finely diced
- 8 ounces vegan cream cheese
- 1 cup vegan sour cream
- 1 tbsp garlic powder

*You can make this dip fully gluten free by swapping regular breadcrumbs for gluten free breadcrumbs in the topping! Super easy!
