Well it’s finally Holiday Season y’all! The most wonderful time of the year, obviously due to the delicious food that is made this time of year. I’m helping you all prepare for the Holiday Season with THREE RECIPES each week of November, and FIVE RECIPES each week of December! How amazing is that?! There’s no doubt that your Holiday parties will be extra kick ass with these recipes.
November I’ll be focusing on Thanksgiving related recipes, and I wanted to make easy things for you guys to take to potlucks, work parties, family gatherings, etc. So these are all super easy recipes that can be made individually or together to make up a really awesome menu for the holiday!
The first recipe for November is this incredible Smoky Maple Dressing. It’s creamy, smoky, slightly spicy, and almost “bacon-y” and is really going to up your salad game this month. Not only does this make any greens you pour it over to die for, it’s also amazing on top of roasted potatoes or veggies as well, or as a dressing for cold pasta salad. The possibilities are almost endless with this dressing, and I’m really excited to teach you guys how to make it!
It really couldn’t be simpler. Add your vegan mayonnaise, maple syrup, tamari, smooth dijon mustard, crushed red pepper flakes, and liquid smoke to a mason jar, seal the lid, and shake until combined! That’s it! Making your own dressings is intimidating for people a lot of the time, but usually they’re made of things that you already have on hand anyways, and they taste 10 times better than any store bought dressings I’ve tried to date. This one is also great because you can double it to make a big jar full, and keep it in the fridge for about 2 weeks!
I really hope you guys enjoyed the first recipe to kick off the Holiday Season here at PLVNT. I can’t wait to show you guys what else I have created for you!
