This is one of our favorite plant based takes at a chocolate milkshake.  While we have some other recipes that resemble more of a true chocolate shake, we love this one because of its subtle sweet & earthy taste.  It also gives you a good amount of energy from the cacao and goji berries, and turns this amazing burnt orange color when blended.  The cashews give it that extra indulgent, ice cream-y flavor, that helps balance out the sweetness from the goji berries.  We hope you enjoy this recipe for our cacao-goji shake!



  • 1/8 cup goji berries
  • 1 tbs cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup raw unsalted cashews
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 whole, pitted dates
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1/2 cup water


  1. Blend all ingredients except the ice until perfectly smooth.
  2. Blend in the ice until it becomes a creamy milkshake.
  3. Pour into a glass, & top with whatever you’d like! For this recipe we used cacao nibs, goji berries, and bee pollen.
